Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets are reportedly talking about extending his contract with Denver. Carmelo is an upcoming free agent in 2011.
Melo has made the Nuggets into one of the best teams in the NBA. I believe Denver should be playing in the NBA Finals right now. They have the talent with Billups and Nene.
Carmelo in my opinion is a top 5 player in the NBA and Denver has made him even better. If Melo doesn't sign a contract extension with Denver, I expect him to re-sign if he goes into Free Agency next year.
The contract extension is three years long, the money is unknown yet. Why would Melo leave his best situation in Denver?
There is no way he will leave Denver, I think Carmelo is going to retire a Nugget.
Carmelo Anthony is a pure scorer and can lead Denver to easily one or two titles before he retires. I think Melo will win at least one.
When you think Carmelo Anthony, you think Denver Nuggets. I couldn't imagine Melo anywhere else then Denver.
Carmelo Anthony needs to sign a contract extension with Denver. It will benefit the Nuggets and Melo himself.
