Sure, Miami now has one of the greatest trios ever to play in the NBA together, but one person everyone is forgetting about is Kobe Bryant. He is the best player in the NBA by far. I expect Bryant to retire as the greatest player in NBA history.
Kobe will retire in about five years and I think he will win two more titles. Michael Jordan had six titles, Kobe Bryant obviously will have seven titles. Bryant is getting older, but he still plays like he is in his prime.
Here is my top five best players in the NBA if Kobe wins two more titles before he retires.
1. Kobe Bryant
2. Michael Jordan
3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
4. Shaquille O'Neal
5. Bill Russell
Kobe Bryant will easily be the best player in Lakers history if he wins title number seven. How can he not be if he still is in his prime and keeps winning?
Bryant still has Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, and Lamar Odom around him. Los Angeles needs to resign Derek Fisher though. The Lakers have Steve Blake, but he can't play the point like Fisher does in the triangle offense.
Kobe proved he is the best player in the NBA by dominating in the Boston Celtics series. Everyone, will disagree with me that someone will ever be better then Michael Jordan. Kobe Bryant will do that when he's career is over.
Bryant is the greatest basketball player in the clutch I've ever seen. I saw Michael Jordan play the last three years, but his Chicago days were amazing to witness.
The rivalry of the new decade is now Los Angeles and Miami. LeBron and Kobe will face off almost every year in the NBA finals. Even the amazing trio will have to witness the Black Mamba win titles against them, I gurantee that.
Kobe Bryant will conquer the NBA and take the throne of the NBA. The Black Mamba will finish with seven titles. In five years, we will all agree that Kobe is the greatest player ever to play basketball.
