Jeremiah Masoli was kicked off the Oregon Ducks football team due to multiple arrests by the police. How will Oregon do without him though?
I think it's going to be a rebuilding year for the Ducks. Oregon's new quarterback will be senior, Nate Costa.
Costa started in one game last year and beat UCLA. Costa doesn't have the dual threat ability that Masoli did, but he can throw the ball well.
So, look for Oregon to run the ball mostly with just LaMichael James next year.
Oregon will mostly be LaMichael James's team next year, I think. James was a force last year when Lagarrette Blount was suspended for punching a Boise State player in the season opener.
If Oregon can somehow pull off winning the Pac-10 without Jeremiah Masoli, I would be shocked.
I don't think they will pull the shocker, but I expect them to finish 3rd in the Pac-10 behind USC and Stanford.
The Ducks will have to recruit a dual threat quarterback next season to get back to their winning ways again.
Jeremiah Masoli messed up badly and that's going to cost Oregon another Pac-10 championship in 2010.
