According to multiple sources, the Golden State Warriors will select Ekpe Udoh at number six.

Udoh would give them a defensive enforcer they need. Maybe the Warriors trading away Corey Maggette opens the door for Udoh to start at small forward.

He has the ability to play at small forward and would be a great defender against Western Conference small forwards like Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant.

Ekpe Udoh is one of the best shot blockers in this draft class. I say Udoh is the best post defender in the draft at his posistion.

Even though Udoh's offense is still raw he can improve by leaps and bounds with Don Nelson as his coach. Udoh could turn into a great mid-range sharp shooter and maybe a post playing small forward.

The Warriors starting lineup would be a good defensive unit adding Udoh and sliding Anthony Randolph into the starting lineup.

Ekpe Udoh fits well with Golden State. According to many sources close to Golden State, they have Ekpe Udoh rated ahead of Greg Monroe.

Golden State could get a great defensive gem with Udoh. He could be the missing piece for the young Golden State Warriors to make a playoff push next season.
